Ceramic Coatings
We only use a specialist ceramic coating specifically designed with a mobile application process. This allows the vehicle to be driven with 30 minutes of application as it becomes quickly weather proof.
Ceramic Coatings
Ceramic Coatings are the latest generation of paint sealants for your car. This coating is a liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior of a vehicle. The coating chemically bonds with the vehicle’s surface, creating a layer of protection that increases both the hardness and self cleaning ability your paint work, PPF or vinyl finish.
A Ceramic Coating keeps your car looking great and aims to avoid costly damage to your paintwork. Ceramic Coatings do however require a little more preparation, they do not hide paint issues like a traditional car wax might, ceramic enhances what is there. This means the preparation process is super important, all contaminants must be removed with a deep clean, iron fallout wash, clay and a machine polish.
Durability is one of most salient merits of these products, they offer incredible hydrophobic properties that can last on the surface of your vehicle for years, thus being a guarantor of optimum car protection against environmental factors and exploitation conditions
What is ceramic coating?
Ceramic coating, sometimes called nano ceramic coating, is an extra surface finish that bonds to the clear coat of your car’s paintwork to create a semi-permanent barrier against dirt, water, chemicals, ultraviolet light, and minor scuffs and scratches.
It’s applied as a liquid polymer that works like a premium alternative to wax, but lasts for much longer without repeated application as it does not wash away or break down throughout your cleaning process. The coating helps keep it looking like-new with comparatively minimal maintenance, achieving this result by making your vehicle more resilient and easier to clean.
The benefits of ceramic
Enhanced finish
Ceramic Coatings enhance surface finishes by adding a harder outer-shell, this finish offers enhanced reflective properties making even the most refined paint work pop with a supreme clarity and high-gloss finish that lasts up to several years with minimal maintenance.
Scratch resistance
Ceramic Coated vehicles are more resistant to light scratches and marring from such things as improper washing and typical day-to-day abrasion or dirt build up that comes from driving on dirty roads which in time can dull your vehicles paintwork.
Hygrophobic
That’s the technical way to say that a ceramic coated vehicle repels water, therefore raindrops and water splashes slide off more easily, so there’s less risk from acid rain or other harmful fluids on the road. This also means that mud and grime struggles to bond to the surfaces of your vehicle and in turn means when you wash your car, contaminants can be removed with less effort.
UV protection
Over time your vehicles paintwork or surface finish may begin to fade, this is a result of oxidization from strong sunlight. A layer of Ceramic Coating protects your vehicle’s finish from the sun’s ultraviolet rays by adding an extra layer of very hard protection which will help prolong the finish and depth of colour to your paintwork.
What ceramic doesn't do
There are many claims and miss-conceptions that simply are not true so its important you understand the limitations of a Ceramic Coating – although it might reduce your risk of each of the following:
Eliminate Water spotting
The hydrophobic properties of a Ceramic Coating means that most of the moisture will bead and slide off the vehicles surface however it cannot completely eliminate this as some water droplets may remain on the vehicle creating the opportunity for water-spotting.
Eliminate vehicle washing
A Ceramic Coating does not make your vehicle maintenance-free, you will still need to wash your vehicle regularly in order to maintain its look, however the benefit of a Ceramic Coating is that the process of cleaning your vehicle will be made easier. This is due to the hydrophobic properties that prevents dirt and water from sticking to the surface making it easier to rinse away any surface dirt and water spots as mentioned above.
Eliminate Scratches and swirls
Ceramic Coatings protect the finish by giving a hardened out-coat – they’re not full body armour.
While they can help to prevent minor scratches, UV and chemical damage Ceramic Coatings are still susceptible to more serious surface scuffs and stone chips.
Swirls are one of the biggest causes of dull paintwork, caused by automatic car washes, or wiping the bodywork in a circular motion with a gritty sponge, a Ceramic Coating helps you avoid this damage by making it easier to wash your car with less need for contact with the surface.

Step 1: Deep clean
Our full valet including citrus pre wash, snowfoam, contact wash, iron fallout remover, rinsed and dried

Step 2: Clay treatment
Clay treatment is very important for getting paintwork read for a ceramic coating. The semi-soft clay pulls microscopic dirt particles out of the the tiny troughs in your paintwork allowing the ceramic solution to bond to the surface.

Step 3: Machine polish
This is the process of reducing or removing surface imperfections in the top layer of a car’s paintwork using a rotary polishing tool and cutting compounds to refine the paintwork. Standard packages include a single stage machine polish.

Step 4: Surface preparation
Using a degreaser each panel is then prepared, this enables the elimination of any oily residues, creating a smooth, antistatic surface ready for ceramic application.

Step 5: Ceramic application
Using the microfibre applicator apply the solution to the pad and apply evenly to the vehicle panel by panel wiping away any excess in a timely manor to prevent hard streaks forming that will need further correctional treatment.

Step 6: Curing
Freshly applied Ceramic Coating needs time to properly cure.
Our specialist mobile product has a sacrificial layer that hardens in just 30 minutes to allow the vehicle to be driven and protects from the weather. The ceramic further cures to a level of 9H over the next 7 days
